Everything happens for a reason, nothing occurs by chance and the same principle applies to my acquaintance with Υoga. Looking back, I now realize that the back problem I had as a child was nothing but coincidence, since it led me to a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine and became the path that showed me the work I was meant to do.
Without realizing it, the so called “alternative therapies” and yoga became the focus of my life. It was only a matter of time until I would get involved professionally with these “arts”, leaving behind a successful career in the telecommunications industry. This decision came naturally, but with the support and encouragement of my teachers. So, I returned back to school and from a graduate of the Athens University of Economics and Business, I found myself studying traditions with roots lost in time.
It’s been seven years since that turning point in my life and my journey into Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yoga becomes more and more amazing. My “acquaintance” with the East changed my life, my body, my diet (I became a vegetarian), my daily routine, my way of thinking and my behavior, my values and my goals. Every single thing about me changed, except my love for my husband and our children.
Now my aim is to become a better person through these ancient practices and arts, but also to help unite the eastern tradition and wisdom with the western daily life and modernism. I want people to come in contact with the principles of this ancient philosophical system and discover their own Truth, like I try to do too.
Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to my teachers for the knowledge they offered me, my life partner for supporting me every step of the way so that I can fly, my books for being my silent companions and my Teacher, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji, who introduced me to meditation and spirituality.
Let us all enjoy this journey,
